What is Bioneedling?

Bioneedling is a natural powder obtained from freshwater sponges, that is central in the latest Bioneedling treatment. This "powder" is a substitute for needles which, in combination with gels and serums, enables easier and more efficient penetration into the skin. Serums and gel have a much greater efficiency if they can penetrate into deeper layers of skin. Spongilla Spicules enable exactly that!

With the booming of microneedling treatments all over the world, Bioneedling offers an alternative for clients looking for similar benefits without the use of anesthetic creams or needles. It's also ideal for professionals who prefer not to use derma pens and cartridges.

We usually advise that Bioneedling Powder is used in a professional setting. However, unlike microneedling, no necessary education or equipment is needed.

How Does the Treatment Work?

A Bioneedling treatment lasts around 15-20 minutes.

Depending on the skin issue or treatment area that you are working on, mix one bottle of the powder with 3 to 5ml of serum or gel in a sterile cup.

Apply with your hands on the skin’s surface by tapping and massaging gently.

After, take a soaked cotton pad and slowly clean the skin’s surface.

Depending on the skin type, immediate post-treatment sensitivity and redness may occur, but typically fades quickly. The results are visible right after the treatment - the skin is brighter and glowing.

In some cases, peeling may occur a few days post-treatment (do not pull on this skin!), but this is also normal and can enhance treatment effects even further.
